Data saved in your browser
The game uses versioned localStorage to remember your selected mode, match format, sound setting, volume, lifetime round results, and completed-match totals. Computer and local-mode statistics are kept separately. These values stay in the browser profile and do not synchronize across devices. Secret local selections are held in memory for the current round and are not saved in localStorage.
Use Reset scores in the game settings to clear totals for the selected mode. To remove all saved preferences and totals, clear this website’s storage through your browser’s site-data settings. Private browsing, restricted storage, or clearing site data may prevent persistence; gameplay remains available.
Website requests and hosting
Opening a page sends ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, requested address, and browser information, to the server delivering the website. Hosting software may record access or error logs. The deployment operator controls any log retention settings; this application does not define an additional tracking database.
Website analytics
Google Analytics is configured on this website and loads automatically after the page becomes interactive. It helps us understand page visits and overall usage, including activity in the Realtime report. There is no on-site analytics permission popup, and the tag does not wait for a saved consent choice before loading.
Google Analytics may receive information about visited pages, browser and device characteristics, and interactions collected by its tag, and may use cookies. Your game’s locally saved round totals and secret selections are not explicitly sent by the game to Analytics. See Google’s privacy information for the provider’s practices.
Advertising and third-party content
The application currently includes no advertising scripts or advertising cookies. Fonts and illustrations are served locally. External research links open third-party websites governed by their own policies. If advertising or additional data collection is introduced, this notice and any necessary consent controls should be updated before those services load.

What a game session does not require
You do not need to provide a name, date of birth, telephone number, payment information, or account password to choose a move. There is no player profile form or registration process. Local two-player labels identify positions in a match rather than real-world identities. We do not ask you to enter your friend’s contact details before playing together.
The local scoreboard is not a public leaderboard. Other visitors cannot browse your browser’s totals through this website. Someone sharing your device or browser profile may be able to view the statistics in Settings, so use the reset controls or clear site storage if you do not want those totals retained on a shared machine.
Understanding localStorage and cookies
LocalStorage is browser storage that a website can use to remember information between visits. The game’s preference record is separate from a sign-in session because there are no website accounts. Saving a sound setting or round total does not create a cloud backup. Another browser profile starts with its own storage, even on the same computer.
Cookies are another storage mechanism and may be used by configured third-party services. The game’s localStorage record should not be confused with analytics cookies. Google explains its own technologies in How Google uses cookies. The analytics tag loads automatically; browser privacy settings or blocking extensions may prevent it from running. Gameplay does not depend on a successful analytics request.
Choices you can make
You can turn sound off without clearing your score, change the match format without creating an account, and reset the saved statistics for the selected mode from Settings. To remove all locally saved information, use your browser’s controls for this website’s cookies and site data. The exact menu names differ between browsers and devices.
This website does not provide an analytics opt-in or preference control. You can manage cookies through your browser, use tracking-protection settings or blocking extensions, and review Google’s privacy tools. Clearing an existing cookie does not by itself prevent the tag from loading again on a later visit. Browser controls do not automatically delete information already received by a provider.
Information you send by email
The contact address is Contact@RockPaperScissorsGame.online. If you choose to email us, your email service sends the message and associated information through its normal systems. The recipient can receive your address, your message, and any attachments you include. Opening a mail link alone does not submit a website contact form.
Send only the information needed to explain your request. For a technical problem, the page address, browser name, device type, and steps to reproduce it are often enough. Do not include passwords, payment details, identification documents, or private information about another person. Avoid attaching a screenshot that exposes unrelated messages, browser tabs, or account details.
How support information is used
Information voluntarily sent in an email can be used to understand the reported issue, answer your question, or investigate a problem with the website. A follow-up may be necessary if the original report does not describe the relevant page or action. Email providers process correspondence under their own service arrangements and privacy information.
This application does not impose an automatic deletion schedule on a separate email inbox or hosting logs. Retention depends on the systems operated for those purposes and the circumstances of a request. We therefore do not promise that messages or infrastructure records disappear after an invented number of days. You can contact us to ask about a particular message you sent.

Following a link means requesting content from that destination, which may process connection data or use its own cookies. Fonts and illustrations included with the game are delivered as website assets rather than requiring a separate font-provider request during normal use. Google Analytics is the distinct integration described above. The presence of a research link does not mean that the linked organization receives your local game scores or participates in running this game.

Keeping a browser and device up to date and limiting access to a shared profile helps protect locally stored information. Browser storage is not a secure vault for confidential material, and no internet service can promise absolute security. This game is designed to avoid needing sensitive information for its ordinary operation.
