ROCK PAPER SCISSORS GAME

Terms of Use

Effective October 29, 2026. These terms describe the use of this free browser game and its educational articles.

The service

The website offers classic rock paper scissors against a computer and local two-player play on one device. It does not provide remote matchmaking, accounts, prizes, wagering, or paid gameplay. The articles are general explanations of rules, probability, strategy, and history.

Fair and responsible use

Use the site in a way that does not disrupt its operation or other visitors’ access. Agree with your local opponent on fair selection privacy and when to start a new match. Do not use a casual game result as a substitute for a decision that requires careful discussion or professional advice.

Availability and saved progress

We aim for clear explanations and working gameplay, but uninterrupted availability and error-free content cannot be guaranteed. Browser updates, cleared storage, device changes, or hosting interruptions can affect access and saved statistics. Local totals are for your convenience and are not an authoritative competition record.

Content and links

The website includes original interface elements, illustrations, and editorial material. External sources are linked for context and attribution; their inclusion does not mean those organizations endorse this website. Third-party sites have their own terms and practices.

Changes and questions

Features and these terms may be updated as the site develops. The date above identifies this version. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. For an issue with the site, see the Contact page, and read the Privacy Policy for information about browser storage.

Using the game and its controls

You may use the public game for a break or learning activity. A modern browser and a device capable of running the page are needed. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for access under your existing plan; the website itself does not charge a gameplay fee or ask for payment to unlock a match format.

The computer mode compares your choice with an independently selected computer move. Local two-player mode is for people sharing one device. There is no remote multiplayer service, account system, or invitation feature. If you want to play with someone beside you, follow the private selection and handoff steps rather than showing your choice before they make theirs.

Match rules and interpretation

Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. Matching choices produce a draw. Best of 1 ends after one decisive win, Best of 3 after two, and Best of 5 after three. Draws are recorded separately and do not count toward those targets. Infinite mode continues until you decide to reset or stop.

Agree with another local player before changing a format or starting over during a match. The interface may ask you to confirm that action because active progress will be discarded. A round explanation or score that appears incorrect can be reported for investigation. Do not treat a disputed browser result as a binding judgment about an unrelated disagreement between people.

Random outcomes and strategy content

A fair random opponent can produce short streaks and uneven totals. Neither a particular move nor a sequence described in an article guarantees that you will win the next round. Human behavior discussed in strategy guides is context-dependent. An example of repetition or a research finding about a participant group is not a promise about every person you play.

Probability explanations describe assumptions and mathematical models. They do not turn a casual game into a prize contest, wagering platform, financial tool, or decision service. There are no redeemable rewards attached to the displayed scores. If you use the game to choose who starts another activity, make sure everyone involved understands and agrees to that limited purpose.

Respectful access and technical boundaries

Do not intentionally interfere with the website’s availability, overload its infrastructure, introduce malicious code, or attempt to access systems or data that are not offered for public use. Normal browsing, ordinary gameplay, and reasonable reporting of an error are welcome. A visible technical problem is not an invitation to exploit it or affect other visitors’ access.

If you discover a suspected security issue, describe it privately through the contact address. Share enough information to identify the affected page or behavior without including another person’s private data. Avoid publishing details that could expose users while an issue is being assessed. Do not claim an affiliation with this website when communicating about your own work or services.

Saved statistics and device access

Saved preferences and totals depend on browser storage being available. They can disappear when site data is cleared, a browser profile changes, a device is replaced, or private-browsing storage is removed. The service does not provide account recovery or a cloud backup of game history. Keep that limitation in mind before attaching personal importance to a saved record.

People sharing a browser profile may also share access to its local settings and totals. The game does not authenticate which person is viewing those records. Use the reset controls when appropriate and agree with other users before clearing shared progress. Resetting the selected mode’s statistics is a separate action from starting another active match.

Website material and permitted references

The site presents its own written explanations, interface, and illustrations, alongside references to third-party research and materials. The underlying idea of a classic hand game is different from a particular article or image expressing it. Please do not present our complete articles or original illustrations as your own work or imply that we endorse a product you offer.

You are welcome to share ordinary links to public pages so others can play or read a guide. Where a third-party source or asset has its own license, its terms apply to that material. A source citation is provided for context and does not transfer ownership of the linked work or authorize uses beyond the rights its owner allows.

Availability and practical limitations

Access can be affected by maintenance, hosting failures, browser restrictions, or a visitor’s own network. A page that loads successfully on one device may behave differently on another. Sound can also depend on browser permission and device settings. We do not promise a specific response time, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with every browser extension and assistive setup.

Any limitation of responsibility is subject to rights and protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. These terms do not promise compensation, an official competition outcome, or a guaranteed result from following a guide. If a feature is unavailable, you can stop using it and report the problem through the contact channel.

Email Contact@RockPaperScissorsGame.online with a question about these terms or a specific website issue. Include the relevant page and enough context to explain your concern. Do not send passwords, confidential documents, or unnecessary information about other people.
